One of the most awaited and thrilling in the School of Education, Christ University is Kalasaurabha, a blend of cultural, literary and artistic events which brings students together in terms of their talents and yet keep them apart in terms of competitive spirit. It was a week-long fest with students exhibiting their talents enthusiastically and enjoying to the fullest from 17-22 November 2017.

Students were divided into groups keeping in mind the range of talents. It began with the presentation of innovative team theme. Teams worked together and came up with different team names like Ubuntu, Melange, Enthusiastic Emoticons,Jaagi and Esperrers. It comprised of various events for both individuals and groups
Individual events like Turncoat, Story Writing, Pencil Sketching, Solo Singing, Solo Dance, Cooking without fire, Wealth out of Waste and Origami gave a platform to participants to portray their talents in best possible way. In the group events like team theme, rangoli, flower arrangement, group dance, group song and cooking without fire ; the team members displayed cooperation and unity in demonstrating various skills and talents.
Kalasaurabha not only brought fun to the curriculum but helped us to realize the importance of co-curricular activities. It gave us a lot of exposure which would surely be beneficial for our career as teachers. It also helped us develop better understanding and enriched our bonds between one another. It was an amazing experience and most memorable event ever.
